UPDATE - 8:18 a.m. August 6, 2025 - As previously planned, all fire restrictions ended at 8:00 PM (2000 hours) on August 5, 2025. Effective August 05, 2025, from 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Gilpin County will be going into a Stage 1 Fire Ban. This Fire Ban is in correlation to a Red Flag Warning issued by The National Weather Service. The duration of the ban may change pending future National Weather Service updates. The following Infographic explains what is permitted and prohibited during a Stage 1 Fire restriction.
